Cant even get the game to start

Either on wifi or LTE, the patching keeps cutting off saying "no internet connection" despite having 10Mbps speedtest.

Either some bad netcode, servers, or just plain bad code. Keep away until you see others review it positively. And not just star the thing, actual reviews.

iphone 6 on iOS 8.0.2.

Edit: finally got it to patch properly. Highly addictive game. The anime style cuteness is definitely a plus for me. So far the grind hasnt been too bad but well see as time goes.
